لا أستطيعُ منكَ التَّولِي

يا من مِنك بعضي وكُلّي

أناشدُ قُربَك إليكَ قُدني

إليك جئتُ بقلبٍ تَعِب

إمّا دَنوتُ منك ابتعدتَ

ألستَ أقربَ إليَ منّي؟

لا أريدُ من حُبِكَ الجَوَى

فلِم لا تلقاني، وأنتَ العزيزُ، في الوسطِ

ما لِلَوعتي شيءٌ من الورعِ

ألا يكفيك من الحبِ حبي؟

حاشا أن تحتاجَ، إني أنا المستجدي

ما طالَ الطريقُ إلاّ لوهن نفسي
